I try to be fair but this one got me pretty upset. So yes this is a rant !

Since yesterday (upgraded to 6 the day before), starting WoW give me:
Code:
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request:  72 (X_PutImage)
Serial number of failed request:  84
Current serial number in output stream:  96

(on top of gddb error which is still not fixed)

checked the tests, the opengl set on nvidia, re-install the engines... nothing...

In the end, I removed all cedega, re-install ... same, plus numerous error in the wizard which does not parse correctly the driver string for alsa because i have 1.0.14rc1 installed. come on, learn to write a string parser !

In fact just trying to extract icon cause similar error as above.

I have paid transgaming for ~2 years and I was quite satisfied, but that and the lack of decent bug system to search for solution is really pushing.

BTW, same WoW folder start and run perfectly fine with wine... so it's not drivers, nor game.

Well... after all I was able to get it working again by changing driver. So I guess there is a problem between engine 6 and latest nvidia drivers.

Back in business... but please fix the damn database.

what was your gddb error? was it with the gddb_parser? Can you play games? I can't even play games. if you got around gddb please post your solution.

i have the latest nvidia drivers and i can run meny games fine (NFS:Carbon Warcraft 3 Guild wars..) so i don't think it is the driver unless it is a problem with the driver WoW and cedega 6 because i have not tried WoW yet

I had same error as reported several times by people
Quote:
GDDB evaluation problem: Problem with GDDB file around line -1209446056: Invalid attribute VertexShadersLevel

I removed the gddb settings (set on None)

I did not copy the other error during wizard but i recognized the string of my alsa-driver package.

As I said using wine I could play the game, so it's specific cedega 6 and those drivers. Changing back to previous drivers allow me to start the game again with cedega.

I tested it on my 2 computers... so I am sure it is the combo cedega6+nvidia-100-xxx drivers.

Had a problem with GW since upgrading to 6.0. I know it plays fine but I think for installation/first run you need to use an older engine (I'm going to try 5.2.10 tonight)

here is what happend to me when i tried to installe.
First time when installer started i could not do anything i had to stop all cedega process to stop it.
so i tried again and when i went over a button the installer closed.
and i got this from terminal:

wine: pcm.c:974: snd_pcm_delay: Assertion `pcm' failed.

so i changed my sound to OSS and was able to install it is still installing i will update on gameplay

Hello,

I have a NV8600 and i got the same error message.

Code:
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request:  72 (X_PutImage)
Serial number of failed request:  82
Current serial number in output stream:  94

I must use 2.1.1 NVIDIA 100.14.03 NvidiaDriver (its a béta but its the only driver at this moment).

The probleme is really du to nvidia driver ? no way to get WOW working ?

thx.
